Octavia Cotton Stripe PJ Burgundy Stripe
White and pink stripe cotton, finished with contrast burgundy piping along the collar, cuffs and trouser hem. We picked this one for the piping colour combination. It is the detail that lifts a classic stripe out of plain hospital-shirt territory. The top buttons all the way through and carries a chest pocket, and the wide-leg trousers have side pockets too, which is rarer than it should be in sleepwear.
The wide leg falls loose from the hip, so it does not cling on warmer nights, and the adjustable tie waist means it fits properly instead of needing a safety pin. Both pockets get used, the top one for glasses or a phone left by the bed, the trouser ones for hands on a cold walk to let the dog out. Cotton like this holds its shape and colour over repeated washing better than a jersey stripe would.
Sizing
Octavia comes in XS to XL and runs true to size. Gingerlilly's own conversion puts XS at AU 6-8 and XL at AU 14-16, and it is a regular rather than oversized cut through the body. Our sample was worn by a 174cm model in a Small.

Made from 100% cotton, the set pairs a button-through, long sleeve top with a chest pocket and contrast burgundy piping with wide-leg trousers finished with a hem detail, matching piping, side pockets and an elasticated, tie-adjustable waist. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with a regular detergent. Tumble dry on low to medium heat or line dry in the shade, and iron on a medium setting for a crisper finish. It arrives in Gingerlilly's own branded gift box.
