Job Title: Retail Sales Assistant (Casual)
Location: Based in Creswick | Must be available to work in Daylesford on weekends as needed

We’re looking for a vibrant, motivated Retail Sales Assistant to join the team at The Farmers Wife. Based primarily in our Creswick store, this casual role offers 4–5 days per week, and will include one weekend day. Perfect role for someone with retail experience, a flair for fashion, and a love for creating beautiful spaces for our customers to shop in.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver warm, welcoming and knowledgeable customer service

• Manage day-to-day sales and store operations

• Manage stock — unpacking, pricing, merchandising and stocktaking

• Fulfil online orders with care and efficiency

• Maintain the store’s presentation and visual merchandising standards

• Work independently and as part of a small, supportive team

• Communicate with customers and HQ via phone and email

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years of retail experience

• Confident working solo — self-directed, responsible, and proactive

• A genuine love for fashion and styling customers

• Positive, high-energy personality with a can-do attitude

• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation

• Tech-savvy with excellent computer skills: confident using Shopify, Lightspeed, Outlook, and spreadsheets

• A natural problem-solver with great initiative and team spirit

• Reliable, flexible, and willing to help across our stores as needed
